Belief #23

I’ve always tried to stay true to my authentic self. I think sometimes people project things on you, but I am trying to handle everything that’s happened to me with a certain amount of grave, dignity, and good manners. You just can’t necessarily win all the time.

*Our greatest lessons may come when we don’t win. And learning is what life is really about, isn’t it?

Belief #22: Twice as Many as 11

I “believe” that…

belief must pass.

Either I “know” or I do not.

I “know…”

I know that “I am.”

“I am…”

-an electromagnetic occasion.

-a finite process determined by an infinite backdrop.

“I am” love…

Belief #21

I believe that… An examination of one’s beliefs will shed light on the nature of existence and an individual’s experience of Life that will in turn expose weaknesses in the foundation of the social structure.

Belief #20: Twice as Many as 10

I believe that a person’s sexual desires should never be held against them, no matter how perverse.

I believe that sex is tremendously overvalued in the collective American conscious.

I believe that the world would be a much happier place if everybody were free to engage in sexual activities wherever or however the mood struck them, with no fear of condemnation, disease, or risk of pregnancy.

I believe that the phrase “risk of pregnancy” typifies one of the most diseased notions the collective American conscious holds toward sex and reproduction.

I believe that my opinions on the value of sex can be attributed, in large degree, to feelings of bitterness toward my own sexual inadequacies.

I believe that my so-called sexual inadequacies are largely emotional in origin.
